7 Reasons the Present Day Church System Will Soon Die
It seems that after 30+ years of devotion and hard work "in the ministry", my father has become burned out, broken, and disgusted with Churchianity, or what he calls "Mutual Admiration Societies". I'm excited to see where he goes from here. He's at the place I was two years ago emotionally. What Nadine might refer to as the anger stage of healing, having gone through denial already. I see it as an incredible place of honestly with himself, and a place where he can begin to grow from in ways that he never imagined before. I wait in anticipation to see how soon he goes from the convictions of the above link to his article to proactiveness and the "rebirthing" of his own spirituality and understanding of God's interaction with creation.
