the looming orange spot
I've updated my blog with books -those I'm currently reading, and what I hope to be an alternating "highly recommended" list.
And no, the orange rectangle book slot isn't a mistake. It actually looks like that. It has been one of my favorite books for a long time. It happens to have no ISBN, no cover that I can find, and almost no store that carries it. The introduction alone is worth the search for the book, and is life changing.
Reading through Spiritual Counsels and Letters of Baron Friedrich Von Hügel, compiled and introduced by Douglas Steere, Hügel's life as a spiritual director is incredibly inspiring. That orange spot will probably be among my current reads for a long time.
Should you wish to acquire a copy for yourself, I believe they keep a copy in stock at Lund Books. I originally found it at alibris.com, but they have an ever revolving list.
